I've recently acquired a N&K Pro 10 MC preamp, unfortunately sans power supply. Does anyone have the power requirements, pin outs, etc., or schematic for the powrr supply for this pre? Or a power supply for same that they would be interested in selling?
All I've found is "only the power transformer is external, 24VACx2 plus 10VAC from Plitron."
Another says it was a DC external supply, that would be more likely. "I seem to remember
it simply being a +/- DC power supply that was somewhere around +18vdc and -18vdc.
The preamp has internal +/- 15vdc voltage regulators for both pos and neg supplies so the
power supply input voltage was not at all critical."

You can probably figure out the pins by working backward from the internal regulators/rectifiers.

OR use the Attach function in this forum. It works slick and keeps the image with the message even as photo-host sites come and go.

Thanks for the leads. Was able to gather enough info and schematic to build one. Couldn't find the appropriate xformer from Plitron, but was able to source a custom wound to my (B&K's) specs..Works very well.

This is an old thread but decided to try my luck anyway. I have b&k pro 10mc without power supply. I have been searching ebay and other places for the ps but to no avail. Could you respond with details as to what components (enclosure, transformer and such)you used to build the ps. Thanks in advance.
