B&K Dyna-Quik 500 test socket 9A shows good tubes as Bad.
my 9A socket shows all tubes to test below zero. What i mean is the needle value will dip under zero when the sensitivity is applied. i have tested 12AU7,12AX7, and 12AY7. Any ideas?

I forgot about your thread.
My 500 is quirky. Sometimes I have to turn it on and off to get it to read.
Most of the time I have to slide the tube up and down to achieve the right contact with the pins.
The socket is old and worn.
