Chrome exe is a virus on your machine not the forum.

Chrome.exe is surely the Chrome web-browser. Well-known, reputable.

AVG has a history of flagging Chrome. Did it in 2010; seems to be a new glitch this year. Google it:

FWIW, on Windows, Microsoft Security Essentials is the only virus/malware software I'd recommend (this comes from a lot of security folks)-- antivirus software something that really does need to be built straight into the operating system.

Microsoft Security Essentials is great. It never finds anything. So no worries. 😀

I have completely given up on AVG and no longer recommend it to anyone. I am now using MS security essentials and have had no interoperability issues and so far the machine remains clean.

Another vote for MS here (Defender on W10). Zero problems.
