Edmond Stuart demonstrated an auto bias circuit and I wonder whether anybody has implemented this within their designs or has any feedback on it?

I don't know if it meets your requirements, but my amplifier from the mid-1990's still hasn't exploded.

Oops😳. My Bad! Re above: I didn't read it well. I now read it. It's Ed Stuart's auto bias in EW, not Marcel van deGevel's auto bias in EW.
