So I purchased this amp for 12.75 at auction. When I received it it had three violently blown irf50n06's. I removed all the blown transistors and the driver board. Which I believe are 9014-9015 drivers. Imprints are M6 and l6. Are irq50n15 the same chip as irf50n15's
Use 3205s in this amp in the power supply. You can use MMBTA06 and MMBTA56 in the power supply as drivers.
Ok there isn't a single blown ps fets and I do have the s9014-9015's Perry. But after I istalled the new outputs and drivers I have no audio and -3.0mv at the speaker terminal with b+. It's powered up no protection, but no audio. I also changed the 494 while I had the driver board out.
What is a 9014/15?
No blown PS FETs or not a SINGLE blown PS FET?
Please take the time to explain VERY clearly (no shorthand).

Alli think I fiqured out the problem the I'm supposed to have s9015 and a 2sc1623 on the drivers.
Sorry Perry I have the incorrect drivers paired. I used a j6 it's labeled as S9014 and I am supposed to have l6 which is 2sc1623 paired with the M6 driver. No strange right all the power fets work fine. And only three outputs on one side burnt I believe from a sodering short. A ball (burnt fell out during disassembly.
