Revox B261 tuner audio relay replacement.

Just thought I'd share a small improvement I've made to my Revox B261 FM tuner. I found that the existing relay on the Audio PCB had degraded contacts that was causing the audio to be intermittent and distorted. As the OEM relay is difficult to find, I decided to replace it with a pair of newer SEALED relays on a carrier PCB.
I used a pair of Axicom IM07 DPDT 24V DC relays mounted on a custom PCB. I also fitted a fast Schottky diode across the relay coils (not strictly needed).
The photo's attached show the PCB fitted to the Revox Audio PCB.
The result is a big improvement in sound quality to when I bought the tuner. This is because the audio signal is now going through a new set of clean silver plated relay contacts. This relay PCB is still working over 3 years on from having fitted it. Hope this post is useful to someone.
