Audio Note Dac Zero or Scott-Nixon TubeDac+

I am in the market for a dac to go with my Sony NC555ES and SI Super T amp. I am currently borrowing a Audio Note Dac Zero from a close friend and may have the opportunity to purchase it from him. So far I really like the AN Dac Zero. The sound is more liquid and detailed. However, I was wondering how Scott-Nixon's TubeDac+ compares to it. Or any other sub $500 dacs.

Yet another DAC to try.

There are lots of DACs to look at. Mine requires a computer and may not be what you are looking for. The SPDIF version can be found at audiosector.com. Both available in diy/kit form.

I recently compared my DAC to a AN DAC (email me for more details) and my DAC was preferred.
