Just throwing this out there to see if anyone can help me out. I have the following pieces of equipment:
AA Digital Drive System which includes the transport, controller and power supply. (pic attached)
AA DDE v3 with power station four
AA DTI v2
The problem I'm having is this. I bought the Digital Drive System (pic attached) thinking I could hook it up to the DDE and DTI. Wrong! The Digital Drive System only has one (1) gold plated coaxial output. Which is fine if I had something to plug that one coaxial cable into. Neither the DDE or DTI have a receptacle for the coaxial cable.
I'm looking for is suggestions on what missing piece of equipment I need to hook this unit up to my system. Anyone have any experience with this unit and how to hook it up properly?

You need a DAC (digital to analog converter). Your transport spins the disc and reads the digital information and then shoots the digital information out through whatever digital output it has (whether it's coaxial or optical).
The reason DDS transport doesn't have RCA output is that RCA is an analog signal, and your transport doesn't convert the digital signal into an analog signal that it could output. To change the digital signal into an analog signal that can be amplified, you will make a digital connection from your DDS transport to any DAC, and the DAC will have RCA outputs to feed to your pre-amp or receiver or whatever you're using next in the chain.

Assuming the DDE v3, and probably the DTI as well, sports a BNC connector as well as a large D type connector, then all you need is a RCA to BNC adaptor.

Or the other way round.
