Good Afternoon,
I am looking at making a two way design speaker? I am looking at the Audax tweeters and woofers. The model of the 3 tweeters I am looking at is:
1.
Audax TW025A26 1" Textile Dome Tweeter
2.

Audax TW025A20 1" Titanium Dome Tweeter

3.
Audax TW025A28 1" Gold Dome Tweeter
Now there is only one woofer I am looking at and it is the:
Audax HM210C0 8" Carbon Fiber Woofer
I hope posting pictures is okay? I was wondering if anyone has used any of these tweeters? Which one will blend better with this woofer? I have heard this woofer and its a must for me to buy😀. Really nice all around sounding. Please help out if you can? Just trying to get it right the first time around. Thanks jm

Hi,
In HOBBY Hifi the HM210C0 has been paired with NEO 3-PDR Planar Driver. , this is kit pro 21.07 See Proraum Vertriebs-GmbH | Startseite , section dowload page 4, you will find a copy of the article.
I own aerogel version of this line of 21cm speakers, a HM210Z0 paired with a TW025A8. I've never eard the tweters you have listed sorry 🙂

Haven't heard any of those, but TroelsG uses
this Audax tweeter ( The Madisound Speaker Store )
along with a waveguide he desgned for it (which can be special ordered through Parts Express)
in his favorite system-- TQWT-
Compared to the ones you listed, the SPL is about the same, while the Fs are lower. So is the price.
FWIW, he came across the Audax while looking for something commercially available that was similar to the JBL Le-26 paper cone tweeter from the '70s.

I own a pair of this tweeter tw034XP and a second pair of tw025A8 as I've said before. The metal dome of the audax tweeters produce a really different sound than the textile dome. I like the sound of TW034 but I think this tweeter suits for high efficiency builds. A very good efficiency 94db/W but a rising response and no really high end response, about nothing after 15 Khz. You ca have a look at one of my system :
