Attractive cabinet to give away

I have an early 90's, 41" NEC RPTV. I bought hoping to fix and use but shortly after splurged the big bucks and bought a new 61" set which has served me well. I have no room for it in my crowded shop. No-one seems to want this as a projector project so I'm thinking perhaps the heavy cabinet would make a good start for a rather large DIY subwoofer. It would easily accomodate a shortened horn design like the Dekware design or ?????? This cabinet is not just black pressboard but has a thick outer skin of real hardwood. Oiled oak I guess. It also has closing oak doors.

It could be gutted easily and also made into an attractive stereo system shelving unit

The unit is located about 1-1/4 hour's drive NW of Toronto. Pickup is the only way. You will need a pick me up truck.

It is free but hurry, I am about to push it outside and set it on fire. :hot: I really need the space it is taking up.

BTW, it would not be hard to restore it to function as intended. The sound and on-screen displays (3 properly converged colors) all work fine. It is just that the program video does not get through to the screen. I have the full service manual.
