hello every one, i am trying to diy a astro telescope, and the specification are as below:

35x achromatic
true viewing angle: 1.43 degree
objective lens: lens 2pcs glued lens
eye lens: lens3pcs(2pcs glued lens +1pc singlet)

i'm doing a telescope for school atm (it being part of our school education, i'm in a kind of technical high school); one big question occurred when looking at your drawing: what kind of ocular is that supposed to be? why dont you use a much simpler yet more effective ramsden ocular?
