it is 400 lumens. is that bright enough to look good? the resolution is good. if i can get it for under 300 is that a good thing? or if there is anyone that can tell me the calculation to figuring out how good lumens are on commercial projectors that would be helpful.
thanks,
matthew

Hey Silver, Thanks for the info btw...
I had the infocus lp720 at 450 lumens and you can definitely leave some light on and still see it, but you would have to turn lights off to get good picture. Here are things you should consider: Its heavy, big, low contrast ratio, and image size is kinda small. The only good thing about it is the resolution. A good diy project can beat those stats in a second. I would save money and pass on this. Just my opinion

You have used a screw driver before haven't you? That's basically what you want to do when disassembling a panel....Just unscrew everything but not detach anything (except the inverter board)...Anyway....there are step by step instructions with pictures all over so don't worry.
It has great resolution, i would say go for it, and JOIN ME ON THE DARK SIDE (commercial projectors) MUAHAHAHA!! And then you can retrofit a different light so im not alone on my journey.. and it might give you more ansi lumens...
