My first real pair of speakers was a pair of Infinity Monitors (with the Walsh tweeter). My brothers and I basically bought the first pair of speakers we auditioned that could actually play a CSO recording of the Mahler 8. Some which we auditioned failed rather spectacularly (looking at you Bose) 🙂
