Are any of these tubes useful to me?

I got a box of tubes from the woman's dad's attic. Included in this are some "full-size" pickle-sized tubes, and many of the C-cell sized ones. In no particular order, I have the following available:

5 - 6LQ6 / 6JE6C
1 - 6FQ7 / 6CG7
3 - 6CJ3 / 6DW4B / 6CH3
3 - 6GW8 / ECL86
1 - IV2
1 - 6JU8A
1 - 6EW6
1 - 6GF7A
2 - 6AW8A
1 - 3A3C

I'd like to try my hand at a vacuum tube amplifier. Will any of these tubes help me create a simple single-channel amplifier?
 
Ebay the 6LQ6/6JE6- hams pay a nice premium. Use the proceeds to get some sweep tubes that are just as useful but cost more like a buck or two.

The 6GF7 will make a very nice SE triode amp, good for 2-3W. Likewise the ECL86.

6FQ7/6CG7 is very close to 6SN7 in characteristics- fine driver or input tube for a bigger amp.
 
All of these tubes are from late 60's or early 70's vintage TV sets. The 1V2, 3A3C, and 6JU8 are of no use in audio amp design. All of the other tubes are not commonly used in audio amps, but if they are all good, they could be used to make a serious amplifier. It would be a complicated design but a stereo amp of at least 50 watts per channel could be built. This would take some experimentation to get right, and you wtill need a lot of parts. The biggest expense will be the transformers.

The 6LQ6/6JE6 tubes were used by the truck loads in ham and CB amplifiers this has made them hard to find with premium prices paid for good tubes. SY may have the best suggestions. Sell the 6LQ6's and get enough money to buy some real audio tubes and have some money left over for a start on the transformers.
 
The 6JU8 quad diode is not totally useless. It can be used to bridge rectify an Allied 6K27VF power trafo. If the 6.3 V. winding of the 6K27VF is series wired (in the boost configuration) with the primary, a B+ rail quite adequate for powering a buffered volume control built around the 6FQ7/6CG7 is obtained. A CLC filter with a smallish 1st cap. is in order.

More cheap "iron" in the form of a Triad VPL12-800 would take care of heater power.
