Hi all,
I did a search for Arduino DC motor control with feedback, and this came up: www.egr.msu.edu/classes/ece480/.../Application%20Note.pdf
Would this work in a critical low speed application like a turntable?

Nothing a quick Google lookup couldn't fix:

Thank you very much.
Brushless motors are not DC motors they are AC motors, usually three phase AC motors. They are allways powered by an inverter.
Industrial brushless motors (from Maxon for example) contains three hall effect position sensors. They do not need that kind of device.
Some other brushless motors do not have any sensor, that's right, but they are not good at all for low speeds.
I don't think it is an issue for high quality turntables.
