I'm thinking of building a DAC like the one in the Arcam CD192 CD Player, feeding it with a WaveIO USB-to-I2S interface. As I have a pair of Lundahl LL1690 Transformers I'd go passive on the output side. I already have very good results with these transformers on a Weiliang DAC7, so maybe the Arcam schematic promises even better sound?
