Arcam Alpha 8

Could anyone provide me with service manual for this CD player?
I need it quickly as i can not play any cd`s at the moment,grrrr.

Have you asked Arcam for one? They are normally forthcoming with manuals and should email one to you on request

Arcam Alpha 8 problem

Anyone experienced some problems with this player?
I have one that plays but i can not use the forward step buttom either from remote nor from panel.Sometimes light in display disappears.Vol up/down on remote do not work either.
The player has a Sony CXP82612 mounted.

The Alpha 7, 8 and 9 all use the Alpha 7 chassis. A pdf version of the service manual should be available directly from Arcam on request.

I have already got S.Manual,but i need some help to investigate with this player as fault comes and goes.
What is mainly the faulty parts for this player?
