Anyone remember or have details "Practical Wireless Europa" integrated amplifier.

Main thread is here,
http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/soli...ry-design-sounded-great-time.html#post2165381

The original articles were in the March/April 1978 editions of Practical Wireless.
If anyone has a scanned copy etc of the preamp and power amp and would be willing to post them on the forum that would be great.
Or do you just remember it and can confirm the details 🙂
The power amp used an unusual darlington arrangement on one side of the long tailed input pair.
The preamp used the LM381AN IC.

Thanks

Hi Andy,
Yes 🙂 thanks. I built the "Purbeck" in that case... it was ace.

The Europa must have run over into two months. The cover of the mag had a full picture of the amp so I'm guessing it started in March. Wish I had kept all my old mags now lol.

Hi Godfrey... I know it's a bit of a lame excuse, but I must be one of the only folk not to use paypal... I'm also in the (enviable some might say ?) position of not owning a mobile 🙂

I was hoping someone might have a copy somewhere, probably more chance on the amateur radio sites I suppose.
