If you haven't already, you should check out the EICO Fan Club at Yahoo! Groups. In their file library are construction manuals for many models, including parts lists with part numbers. If you can't find it in their library, you can always ask for help on the group's mailing list.
If you know what amp they came out of, that would help. Eico used some unusually good iron in some of their amps. I've got an old mono unit with an output transformer from Brook.
That was one of their integrated amps. Not great iron. I don't know the OPT specs, but they're likely to be something like 8K plate-to-plate Z, 10 watts. This amp used a pair of EL84s in pentode mode. Eh.
You got it. 12Watts so it reads. Just wondering who made them. They look to be of good quality. I'm goin to use them for a guitar amp so maybe these are better suited for this than home audio?
Yes. If you don't ask much in the way of bandwidth and distortion is a GOOD thing, these will do fine. A guitar amp is a great application for them.
