I don't have any experience with either of those. The first one seems to require a $50 sprayer in addition to the liquid. Seems pricey to me, unless you have a large project.
VMPS Audio uses Soundcoat GP-1 for their cabinets. I bought 2 gallons from them for either $79 or $99 per gallon -- I don't recall at the moment. The product can be applied with a paint brush, a trowel, or a sprayer. I don't know how much sonic benefit it actually provides, because I have never heard my subwoofer without it. Recently, VMPS has been using "Black Hole self-adhesive pads" as a new improvement to Soundcoat.
