I have been searching for alternative bulbs for a while and I came across one that seems pretty good. My main concern is price versus bulb life. I found a MSD 575 and I am wondering if anyone here knows about these. They are used in stage lights. They are 6000k and last 3000hrs. The bulb shape looks very similar to a 575w/se, single ended metal halide ohp bulb, it would be great to directly swap one of these bulbs into a 575w/se base and get 3000 hrs out of it. thanks for any info
