Reminds me of some LPG tweeters from the 1990s. Are there any other markings that could be used to identify it?
On second thought, the back of the magnet is not like LPG designs...

Looks very much old MB Quart tweeter, titanium dome with rubber surround. Model 95-6806.
A bit similar has been in Parts Express https://www.parts-express.com/MB-Qu...-Truncated-Faceplate-6-Ohm-279-466?quantity=1

Correct , that's the MB Quart .I found 3 of them, all shorted . Two 95-6806 and one 95-719 like the one from Parts Express which is not available anymore . Thank You Gents !
Strange they all shorted. Hard to see the voice coil, but from pictures it looks intact. One can definitely unglue VC former from the dome with xylene and replace VC+former subassembly with a new one. There is a lot of coils selling as complete replacement. Rewinding VC on original former is preferable, but requires more skill and winding contraption with the right mandrel. Speaker repair shops should have no difficulty doing this.
They came for an audio shop which simply replaced blown tweeters and put the bad ones in the box. They are too cheap to bother with expensive/ labor intensive repairs on the other hand they look like quality units and I kind of don't have a hart to throw them in the garbage. I have 3 of them.
I don't hesitate to toss old defective speakers in the trash.
It's not worth the time or effort to bother with repairing them in my opinion.
Probably some diehard obsessed audiophile would have chastized me for tossing 8 old/defective tweeters from a pair of lengendary Acoustic Research LST's in the dumpster when I replaced them with new/better German-made drivers. (HiVi Q1R)

Depends on your aptitude (and attitude : ) towards fine mechanical work, really. 3 (well, 4) new VCs are 4 bucks, :

(just discard the silk dome, xylene or razor would do)

No sense in fussing over cheap drivers, but OP's tweeters are nicely made: Ti dome, heavy magnet, profiled pole piece, damping surround, large damped rear volume. Modern comparable tweeters are about $50/ea. Repaired, they should sound and measure fine.

Well, I replaced surrounds ,VC's , and whole assemblies and after usual first tries ( quick &dirty ) fickups usually it all worked fine at the end but I have no talent ( and patience ) to work on DIY speakers, so maybe I will offer them for free here .
At the cost of the HiVi Q1R tweeters that I mentioned, around $20, and made of high German quality and excellent performance, why bother with putzing around with voice coils on broken speakers?
