A buch of people have been contacting me about my nec 1545v lcd mounted on plexiglass. Well, it has been sold, but if anyone wants an lcd monitor, i will strip and mount it on plexiglass for $50 + the price of the lcd monitor (I will strip any monitor you choose). Once the lcd is mounted you do not risk breaking the ribbon cables (becuse it is sandwiched between the the panes of plexiglass) when moving it, and the lcd itself will be protected from breaking. If you ever wanted to try using an lcd monitor but dont want to risk breaking ribbon cables, let me take care of the work for you (and help me make money for research 😀). Email or IM me.
Would it be robust enough to ship to the UK? If so how much do you reckon it would cost? Do have any pictures of the end result (the panel rather than the image 🙂

Sorry guys, no pic. It is basicaly the lcd sandwiched between plexi and this setup prevents ribbons breaking during shipping, as well as moving from the ohp etc.
Are you doing this because of TealKnuckles (me?) Heh. I hope you don't get bogged down with a whole bunch of people...trust me people..you don't want a mediocre panel, especially with this offer.
