Hello Guy. I just interest in transformer coupled preamp . i want to build one for my fet power amp. I never hear this kind of preamp. But i think it should be more nature and mid-band smoother and more focal than capacitor coupled ones. Anyone can share this kind of circuit and comment its sound characteristic ? I know it need many transformer and much expensive so i dont want make wrong decision.
Many thanks for your comments here!

You may want to clone AudioNote M10 the pre-amp section which has an input transformer and 600 ohms output transformer. Our fellow member has successfully clone OT as well.

There are a lot of examples of a 26 tube preamp with transformer coupling on this gigantic thread: #26 pre amp
This 6AH4 preamp by Thomas Mayer also looks nice (supposed to be a good preamp tube): VinylSavor: Making of a 6AH4 line stage: circuit
Lastly, the Lynn Olsen Raven is a differential option with transformer coupled outputs:
I happen to have a pair of LL1660 AM on my shelf so I've been reading up on the same topic.
