Another Pensil P11 with Alpair 11MS build

Hello everyone,
After spending a lot of time reading the forum, I started my first speaker project. I want to build Pensil P11 with Mark Audio Alpair 11ms full range drivers. As a first such project, maybe a little too complicated, but I hope I can do it. I probably won't write anything new, but I hope to receive some valuable advices from those who have already done it. Woodworking skills are very limited, so mistakes are very likely. I hope others can learn from my mistakes and avoid it in own projects. The materials I have are 18 mm plywood. Not the best (III/IV quality), but it is what I have. All the panels are already cut out, the internal bracing with holes was copied from superPensil 12 plans. It remains to be glued. For the final version, I plan to veneer the enclosure. But for now, the first question is whether it is necessary to strengthen the gluing places with sreews or nails. Will the glue be enough? Of course, there will be even more questions, how to stuff, how to make some adjustments. I plan to do some measurements with UMIK-1 and REW, but that is in the future. For now, here are some pictures of how things look now.

Lacking eidetic memory, I’ll have to settle for reconstructing each remembrance anew from the individual bytes of data randomly scattered throughout however many neural connections remain.
What were we talking about, oh yeah - the past ain’t what we remember it to be, innit?
I guess that last part will lose some points on the currently ongoing grammar thread?
Like I care - not.
Cheers, all

Looks fun, and making things happen.
Once moved a entire apartment piece by piece using the roof of my small car.
Always fun to see innovations used by others to bring wood home.

If porn had a speaker bracing genre.
I would assume this construction thread would pop up.

Progress looking good so far.

Where would one find those burgandy colored square clamps and the yellow cable type clamps. I don't believe I have ever seen these type of wood working clamps in any of the wood shops around where I live. Thanks,
MM

On superPensil 12 plans I see some rounded edges on the port:

Should I do the same on Pensil 11? Maybe I can cut it just at 45 degree angle like Sibelius? Bottom part will be visible and I am thinking that I must to veneer this part before everything will be assembled. Probably with a round corners not so easy. Well, veneering probably also not the best idea but so far I do not have high quality plywood or solid wood 🙁
And thanks everyone for the comments and glad it brings back nostalgic memories for so many. My journey is just beginning 🙂
