Another Layout Proof Request - Marshall JCM800

Hey all,

I want to thank again everyone that helped me proof the Sunn Model T layout a few months ago, I plan on starting that build in the very near future. In the mean time, I wanted to draw up a layout for a Marshall JCM800. I know that there are plenty of layouts available already for these, but I wanted to draw a new one up to help me practice reading schematics a little more.

here is the layout:

here are the schematics I referenced:
OUTPUT/POWER SUPPLY

PREAMP

and because those were pretty hard to read, I also used this to get some values, disregarding the power supply and bias supply:

thanks in advance everyone!

thanks kacernator,

there are a lot of JCM800 layouts already on the internet. However, the main reason I wanted to do my own layout is to help me practice reading schematics.

I have been a "paint by numbers" amp/pedal builder for a few years now and want to step up my game a bit.

thanks

It appears to look good. You do want to keep the Preamp tubes AWAY from any of the iron. Take a look at the actual Marshall layouts. Also, tubes stay in the back to help with cooling, transformers can be in the front of the amp.
