Just as I'm amassing the parts for my F6 my colleague sent me this link.
A.N.T. Audio :: Welcome :: Circuit Ideas
As I have yet to build a Phono Preamp he mentioned this circuit and just below it is the Transfollower! Stopped me in my tracks and I commented that looks awfully familiar.
Great minds think alike obviously! 🙂

well ....... not exactly F6
besides , that concept (ignoring type of muscles used) is old as amplification itself
what's real novelty these days is courage to use it again

I recall having commented on the probability of that having been around as a
concept, but I expected it would have been from the 50's or early 60's.
As Alex points out, it is set up as a follower, but with a low impedance
voltage divider feeding the bottom of the primary, you would have voltage
gain as with the F6.

Thanks for the reply Nelson I'm honoured you read and reply.
Since you are so kind at publishing your designs here is a photo of a test power supply for another F6. This hobby is addictive but also so much fun!
I'm building the F6 with the HA5002 buffer chip as the driver instead of the FET's it has the ability to drive low impedance loads and should be perfect for the F6.
