I have found that converting the preouts from my receiver to a digital optical signal, and then passing it on to my minidsp's would help with some of my current noise problems.
Does anyone know of a reasonably priced good quality ADC that have analog rca in and toslink out?
Thanks!

Do you need high-resolution (24 bits? 96kHz or higher sample rate?)
Or would 16 bit/48kHz resolution be good enough?

It's easy if you only need 16 bit. The Behringer UCA-202 USB 'sound card' is actually pretty good, and only costs $30 here in the US. I suppose that would translate to about 30 euros.
It has the S/PDIF optical output.

If you're looking for something more advanced, RME Audio makes fine products. They make a 2-in/2-out ADC/DAC that looks very nice.
ADI-2 FS - RME Audio Interfaces | Format Converters | Preamps | Network Audio & MADI Solutions
I'm not sure what else is out there, but you'd probably be best off looking at pro audio interfaces. The consumer home audio stuff won't often have analog-to-digital conversion.

If it can actually do 95db SNR and -91db distortion as advertised.

It is worth checking the reviews (google translate) as a couple mention noise/hiss though another mentions fixing this with a quality power supply.
Perhaps the noise was due to using cheap phone chargers ??

Does anyone have suggestions to good quality ADC and S/PDIF optical chips? Ideally i should have closer to 100db SNR, and i need two of these. Looks to be really expensive, so maybe diy is the way to go.
The little black analog to digital audio converter boxes on ebay for around $20 aren't too awful; the innards appear to be name-brand chips. Behringer's SRC-2496 could do ADC, DAC, and sample-rate conversion. Those may be out of production. Other digital recorders and processors may be usable as an ADC.
