An "industrial" audio DAC

I made some experiments around an industrial-use resistor-string DtoA converter chip, obtaining a stereo NOS DAC.

Very interesting read. I suppose adding a reference like 425 or 423 as suggested by AD, at next to nothing, would be a worthy next step.

It always amazes me how good and "raw" the true NOS measurements look. My biggest grief was always in getting -3db or so of 20kHz drop back to an appropriate level.
