All these calculators were designed for chipamps or Class AB. Do the same principles apply to Class D amps?
They should directly apply. What matters most is the maximum sustained current that the amp will require and that should be handled the same way. A class D amp will be more efficient so you won't need to multiply everything by as large a factor to account for that.
