Amazon India is bluffing

I ordered a product on Amazon. They phoned and told me to cancel the order as the parcel is misplaced in transit. I reordered the same product. After few days, they phoned me and he is telling the parcel is damaged in transit.
This is a clear bluff. I suspect they do not have the product in stock, but has listed it on their shopping site.
 
Amazon is a broker in India, they help in disputes.
The site is a facilitator, a market place of sorts.
So complain to Amazon.

Flipkart is part of Wal-Mart, I believe.
You could try there, and on the usual business to business sites.
