Look into Grid Beam.
Same concept. There’s many metal suppliers out there providing products under many different names for different purposes.... OpenBeam, MakerBeam, 80/20, etc. There’s also 3D printed options.
If you want ultimate value, get the grid beam book and build your own jig and you can make any size you need.
How to Build with Grid Beam: A Fast, Easy and Affordable System for Constructing Almost Anything: Phil Jergenson, Richard Jergenson, Wilma Keppel: 9780865716131: Amazon.com: Books
This construction philosophy can be applied to almost anything- homes, furniture, robotics, and so on. You can scale it obviously to your needs.
Edit: some links
A.C. Gilbert Erector Sets and Other Metal Construction Toys - Girders & Gears
Metal & Hardware Kit - VEX Robotics
OpenBeam - 15x15mm aluminum profile - MakerBeam
OpenBeam in Europe - MakerBeam
PS as an aside: maybe a more appropriate title would be
Modular Framing and Construction Options Similar to VinylSavior
Aluminum isn’t the only material, and I don’t think it’s the material VinylSavior uses anyhow.
Might help others looking for similar information.
It was always my hope to see the diyaudio store move toward cases, framing and baseplates that have more of these qualities after ironing out the basics of their universal mounting specification with HiFi2000.
I personally would love to see more options, but it may not be financially viable / sensible.

That would be great, I feel the same way. Not just cases of certain sizes, but modular systems for enclosing builds.
There is also OpenBuilds Part Store:

They have some great prices on profiles.

Thanks for the link on the Fisher!
I am curious about the spacing between holes, have to see if I find that out.
Cheers, Erik
