Hello everyone,
This is around my 6th revision of my project. I want to build a killer outdoor iPhone dock with loads of power and battery life. I'm wanting to build a system with 4 Dayton Audio PA130-8 5-1/4" Full Range Drivers, with 4 Vifa BC25SC55-04 1" Square Frame Tweeter
I'm basically going for huge range, a typical awesome lake/volleyball/beach boombox. I've poured over the Boominator thread and also that white cabinet project from PartsExpress (Can't find it right now)...
The trouble is, I can't find any Dayton Audio DTA-2 Amps. I have purchased a Shure 2x100 Class T TK2050 Amp and i THINK it's pretty sweet. But I can't use that with the 8 Ohm speakers, correct? Are 8 Ohm speakers more efficient with a battery powered rig?
Ugh.. soo many questions.. I'm learning sooo much. But more and more questions and options keep popping up.
Thanks for anything you guys can do to help. 🙂

The listing for that product mentions 8Ohm use.
It looks as though it would be fine.

High Output Power:
30W @ 6Ω, < 1% THD+N
40W @ 8Ω, < 3% THD+N
100W @ 4Ω, < 10.0% THD+N
It looks as though it would be fine.
