Altec Lansing AVS-300B Woofer Popping Sound

Please Help me out with this issue.
I do have very little knowledge about speakers and amplifier systems.
I own Altec Lansing AVS-300B 2.1 Channel multimedia speaker system.
2 satellite are of 3.5 watts each and subwoofer is of 10W (Total 17W)

Since last two months i am getting popping sound coming out from sub-woofer.
(Only sub-woofer--both satellites are working absolutely fine)

Thats not motor-boating sound i think but a non-periodic popping sound.
Popping sound comes out even if there is no audio input (Only speaker power ON) This sound is random and it's intensity increases if i raise the sub-woofer volume.
Since last 15 days sub-woofer volume control knob has stopped working.
So i replaced 3-pin 10K Ohm pot-meter with new one. But that new pot-meter is also not working. Volume of sub-woofer remains at max always.Hence loud popping sound comes out.

All capacitors on PCB are looking fine.
Input voltage is 18VDC-650mA....Input supply is regulated 17.91VDC precisely.

I have disconnected sub-woofer speaker wires and using only satellite speakers to get rid of annoying popping sound.

I am attaching images of speakers and PCB. Kindly suggest me a solution to get rid of this popping sound.

PCB has following ICs on it:
TDA-2007A (Quantity 1)
MC-4558 (Quantity 1)
Transistors (Quantity 3)
FET (Quantity 1)
