Also someone tried a 5,5" TFT Panel?
Hello!
I bought a 5,5" TFT Panel, put off all electronical things of the back and put this panel on an OHP.
But it dosn't work really good. I always get a really dark picture. Someone wrote, that he took a TFT Monitor and did the same, but he removed a transparency from the panal that it will be brighter.
When I put my panel on the OVP, the picture will be projected on the wall, but the result is a very dark one.
Is your panel also soooooo dark???
When I take the panel and look into the sun, it seems I have sun glasses on :-(
Please help me if you can and forgive me for my bad english!

Welcome!
First: did you remove the backlight? You should only have the panel itself on the OHP (Just the glass section, no backlight and foils)
All tft's are dark. Only about 10% of the light gets through. Thats why most people replace the bulbs in OHP's for more powerfull and 'whiter' bulbs.
You should also make a frame around your tft so there is no light leakage.
Good luck!
