Alpine MRV -T757

Just wired up some 10" subs to my Alpine MRV - T757 and the power light is fine and the music light is fine, just the protection light flashes red indicating "RCA ground floated" per the manual. checked the ground wire, it is fine. The sub works just fine and sounds great. It has a slight hum when there is no sound. Not sure what to check. Any ideas? Also I am pretty novice

Well I probably sound pretty dumb, but not sure what that means. I have a pioneer cd player as the head unit and two 10" pioneer subs. I saw this picture somewhere as a possible fix? Thoughts?

Is the CD player ground connected to the same ground as the amp?

If so, you need to check the shield ground for the head unit:

looking for schematic for alpine mrvt757 amp

I am in search of a schematic for an alpine mrv t757 amp. got 2 amps with separate problems but do know they need internal repair. could send to alpine but what fun would that be? thanks.
