Aleph series and components

Im a little french man and just discovered the fabulous circuitry from MR Nelson Pass... Its look wondefull.

I started to buy component for building a Aleph 3, and I only found IRFP240 Mosfet for the outputs... are they going to do the job correctly?

Is the changement of the type of output Mosfet make change something in the rail power value? or resistor? (to change the courant sink ??)

and the last but not the least, with changing the value of the power rail, must we change anything else ??

Thanks a lot

The IRFP 240 has been suggested serveral times by NP as direct replacement for the IRF 244 used in the commercial Aleph and no longer manufactured.

The rest of the circuit remains the same.

If you change the voltage too much from the +-25V of the Aleph 3, several resistor values are to be changed accordingly.
Watch the other Aleph schematics for reference.

Consider also the Volksamp 30 (also known as Aleph 30) which is and updated Aleph 3 featuring balanced inputs and better performances.

Good luck with your project!
