I picked up a pair of AKG K-92 for 7.65ukp inc shipping, hopefully the left ear no audio problem will be a simple fix:

The AG K92s arrived today, they are like new. I opened them up and there is a loose red wire, I expect this is the cause of the fault.
But where do I re-solder this red wire to fix the issue?
I tried soldering the red wire to the opposite speaker terminal to the one that has the white wire attached, and this didn't fix the issue, still only sound in one ear.

The red wire should be connected to the wire that go the the next phone speaker, probably the green wire.
Do you measure the wires that came from jack connector and that go to the next phone speaker?

I haven't used the meter to check things yet, I just saw the loose red wire and thought that must be the problem. The green and red are soldered together.
You need to open other headphone and check out what is going on there with wires. The red to green is right channel, but you still need the ground. Left channel has clearly white and ground ok.
Are you sure there is only green wire inside the white tube?
