Hi there
I got this amp in my possesion and now i want to clean it and maybe replace the caps (it's '78 anyway... they most probably are dry as a desert)
So now i'm asking here replace caps yes or no ?
What to do with faded text (most of it is fine but there are some places like the second pic in attachment)? maybe laser engraving ?
Thanks for your suggestions and answers

Engraving?
he,
Replacing the caps (starting in the PSU and probably output caps) is not a bad idea, but not strictly necessary if there is no audible hum or sound degradation.
As for the text, you could try to go to a local jewelry shop where they do ring engravings and ask to engrave your front by first removing it from the amp.
Most jewelry shops have line tracing engraving machines that can handle large rectangular objects.
I did this ones myself and it looks great.
