Hi Guys ! A friend gave me a pair of AIWA NSX-D707 speakers, the boxes are damaged ... I thought about using drivers and build you a better box.
When disassembled the speakers i found a suprise , the crossover is 2-Way 😕 conformed by a 3.3 Ohms/5W resistance (woofer) and a 2.2uF capacitor for the "midrange" and the tweeter (both are connected in parallel) and according to my calculations the crossover point is 10Khz right?
For me the alleged "midrange" is actually a tweeter, because the dome tweeter 1 " (piezoelectric) sounds very low, barely listening

There any way to identify if it is actually a tweeter or a midrange?

Sorry for my bad English

the piezo has a built in crossover naturally. i think they are several thousand ohms? they do not change the rest of the crossover because they dont affect the impedance enough. the tweeter is the smaller one. piezos only make sound above 8k or so, so they naturally sound quiet.
