Search for barometric pressure sensors. I think Spark Fun Electronics (Google is your friend) has some. There are also much cruder types, probably closer to the tire application. Try Honeywell also.
Freescale makes them as well. You probably want something like the MPX5700. DigiKey carries them, they're about $15-20 each.
for up to 3 bar with very good accuracy use an automotive MAP sensor off a turbocharged vehicle, gives a 0-5V signal.
They make so many of them they are quite cheap.
standard 1 bar map sensor is sensitive enough to use as a barometer..... you just made me realise how I can build my own barograph, I've always wanted one.
