A photo and the schematic of the headphones amp i have finished, except for the housing. More information (in Dutch...) and photos can be found in this and older postings on my site: OTL800: Headphones Amp klaar
I built it for my AKG K240 headphones (impedance = 600 Ohm).
The combination of the regulated power supply and the Aikido principle is of course over the top. But for me it is a good excuse to use many tubes and the available chassis (from a long time ago dismantled radio).
Greetings,
Robert

Just a couple of days ago your amp came to mind because I remembered the original schematic you drew up, and damn there she is again
Slow startup of b+ I suppose. What exactly does this PY81 damper diode do except producing heat waste?
