Ok I just bought one of these setups and just stock with no modification it produces a not so bright somewhat blurry image. The glass beneath the lcd looks frosty, and there is a fair amount of light leakage. Is there anything I can do to increase the either the brightness of the image or the contrast...I'm new to it all so bear with me. Any help is greatly appreciated.
I"m sorry to post all these questions. I took apart the projector and what did I dee? DUST! DUST like you've never seen it. So I cleaned it up, and now a fairly decent picture stands before me. Now i have a somewhat blurry image and a hot spot. I took off the lens and found it to be warped(theres the hot spot) and I guess for a lack of a better term, faded(hence the blurry picture). The picture actually looks great considering that and all the light leakage. I have myself 6'x6' glass beaded screen coming in and hoepfully by next weekend, I'll have a nice enclosure complete. All is coming together. Pics to follow.
