I'm from Canada and i'm pretty much a noob in DIY speaker building, but it is a current interest i'm pursuing. I'm a big Sound/music junky and i am pretty critical to what i hear in terms of sound systems. (Also very picky 😛 )
Why do i want to start making my own units? Well, the disappointing quality of current commercial speakers and overprice of those that actually don't sound that bad made me wonder if i could achieve my goal of owning a quality system fit for my taste and built by me.
I'm pretty sure i'm not the only one who has that opinion. Still i'm at the bottom of the ladder right now and trying to work my way up. Can't wait to get to know you guys. 😀
