i have not found a uk based company that i can go to, to fully upgrade to audiophile status. i want to be able to take pictures of the unit internally and get advice on what parts are upgradeable from someone on the forum.
as i have never done this before and i am not sure of what to do, i am wondering if on this site i can get advice on which parts are capaciters to upgrade and the resisters to upgrade and what else to do and how. i also want to upgrade the power supply as required.
i am going to take on the changeing of the phonoes and the instalation of an iec. i have been adviced about the iec that it should be an Lc iec? to protect against em and rf problems so as i am unaware of what this is? i thought i would ask on this site about these things.
my thoughts are that with step by step pictures of before and after, it could be great for the site and others interested and a great help for me. it also gives me a chance to spend money on the amp more and also donate to the site.
if the administrater is reading this please could you advice me whats my next step and did i put this is the right place? also what else should i add to this thread?
