Hi Everyone,
This loudspeaker has been built except the full range Audio Nirvana 10" fr, have not been placed in yet , due to $$$ but will be installed by march 2014. I have the original ADS 10" woofers running them with No Crossover, and they sound pretty good, considering the heavy paper cone. The tweeters are already installed and they sound stunningly good! of coarse they are louder than the woofers but at this point they sound better than the original tweeter. I am running a Scott tube amplifier to these speakers. They are bi-ampable. I have employed a rear firing tweeter to gain a little ambience to the rear and seems to have a sound that follows you around the room. I am not worried about baffle step correction, since we have a wide baffle. These were left over enclosures I had sitting collecting dust, and my total investment will be about $575. Pr. Not bad considering I did not have to build the enclosure, but I PUT A LOT OF WORK INTO THESE~ results speak for themselves. Because I moved to Bass port instead of sealed, the lows I notice go lower than before! These speakers will dissappear in your room! Just like ADS claimed. I can't wait to get the AN's in. I bet this speaker will perform as good as any other 2-way! They came out better than I anticipated! Enjoy, Pianolydia P.s. Yes the front tweeter is charged coupled!
