Adding an Amp to a Yamaha RX 870 receiver.
Is it possible to add a Amp to this receiver?

Yes it would seem you can, do you have the RX-V870 or the RX-A870

Amp is built in, at least it says so on a website...

If the receiver has RCA jacks called "PRE OUT" then you can add an amp for every RCA jack.
