I just purchased my first amp, the adcom 545, so far its great, even though im very new to audio.
However everytime i change inputs, sound format changes, or even skiping to next in a movie (it takes about 4 seconds on blueray to skip to the next scene) then when the new scene starts and audio comes back in, it also pops, i notice it does this because when I hit next my audio receiver shows no signal for a second, then displays lpcm when the scene starts, because of this when the scene starts, the amp will cause a pop sound very quick on any changes And as mentioned switching inputs and sound formats it does it as well.
I found the following on avsforum
"be aware that some of the early generation gear that was designed by Nelson Pass (545/555 not the MKII's) do not have decoupling caps on the input. this of course was intentional to keep the signal path clean...the result however is that any DC offsets between equipment will become evident as a small speaker pop..ie when the AVR is changing inputs or audio signals...this *could* become annoying if your AVR/DVD combo drops into stereo mode during a layer change (if your player has them)...at which point you'll get a slight speaker pop."
"My current AVR (denon 2307) disconnects the speaker outputs via relays when muting, or switching inputs...so I don't get the pop. But I've had other receivers that did not do this and got the pop as a result."
Any ideas how to fix this issue for me, or any help with these decoupling caps, where i would get them. I cant do any soldering but my installer whose an electrician im sure can. But is their an easier fix for this?

If anyone could help me or guide me in the right direction. If i cant figure this out and find a solution and/or get my installer/electrician to solder it on, i will have to sell it and will be a huge pain. I paid 75 just to have it shipped to me.
Is their any other method other then soldering on decoupler caps?
