Active crossover question

I need a 12db/oct Linkwitz-Riley high pass crossover set at 400hz. I would
like to use an input cap before my amp as the first 6db/oct pole and an output cap on the amp for the second 6db/oct pole. But do I set them both for 400hz ? If not what frequency do I set them for?

Yep, both set to 400Hz gives the required response. Linkwitz himself though doesn't recommend the LR2 - see Active Filters

Thanks for the info. I was thinking of using this with the Martin King open baffel and
I think he designed it with the L-R corssover I am not positive about that though.
