I want to put my beautiful copper plated Sony CDX-C90 in an acrylic enclosure on my desk and use it as my computer's stereo. I want to use acrylic so that I can still see that shiny copper 🙂
I am having a tough time finding prebuilt enclosures for this application so I have decided to build my own. Where should I start? Any good sites where I can order acrylic cut to exact size with nicely finished edges and possibly predrilled holes? Thanks!

Wow that is convenient, thank you!
make sure you select a thickness that can handle the sub's pressure. I messed this up when I made an acrylic subwoofer a couple years back (it is now sadly collecting dust). Also, add the sound damper material wherever you connect the joints or it will rattle like a mother.
It will be challenging to cut the panels exactly if you're using acrylic for all the sides. I'd sooner use a window in a conventional box, and dress up the interior with LEDs and maybe a mirror if that helps.

Isn't the CDX C90 a head unit? - I'd imagine the issues would be making tidy work of the wiring harness / antenna connections usually buried out of site behind the dash
